Theater arts group called STAGES ANGUILLA will be here on Antigua April 27th 2018, a must see theater production to attend. We specially encourage students studying English B, film/theater to attend this event. Happy to host this theater group. Happy Thanksgiving everyone, Its a while since I've posted on my "blog"page...sigh lol anyways, I have been on the move. My sister island Barbuda was hit by Hurricane Irma in September which displaced them all off the island. They live on sister island Antigua in shelters some in private homes.  Since the storm, I have been volunteering my time at one of the shelter daily in the clothing department ( see pics on my instagram page @antiguansoilyafrancoise ). This thanksgiving was special for me, well.. the week before. First I met His Excellency Heir to the Throne Prince Charles, Prince of Wales...it was surprisingly wonderful. The Prince came to the center where some Barbudans live to have a better feel of how they are, he had a good talk with me in the clothing department sharing deep concern...then he cracked a joked to me when he looked at the heels donated and said "can you imagine women wearing heels that high" my response " of course we...

So proud of  lil Destiny, she is ten (10) years old (lil girl with her family) and wrote a movie called "Cry Cry"  about what is going on from her mind point of view of the happenings in the country. The Director Doc. Noel Howell assisted her to make her dreams a reality. The movie 2hrs long but very deep and also comedic had patrons from the local community and educators that came out and supported the release of the movie at Deluxe Cinema Antigua. I was featured in it as one of the police officer (playing the undercover police officer was fun and draining at the same time because the routine was coming home from work after 6am then unto set for the entire day with lil sleep lol but  I really wanted to help Destiny with her movie). Doc. Noel Howell love supporting the youths through film and he had them all on set and also made them played various characters that made them creative outside the box for the film.
