Happy New Year and Happy Black History Month 2019
Healthy Wealthy Peaceful Prosperous Gracious Victorious 2019 everyone!
Prime Minister of Antigua/Barbuda Hon. Gaston Browne and his wife Mrs. Maria Browne presented
a gift to the team.
Where do I begin? 🌞Team Antigua Island Girls Elvira Bell, Christal Clashing, Samara Emmanuel, Kevinia Francis, and Junella King the first Caribbean all-female team, and the first all-Black female team to cross the Atlantic and the third team to represent Antigua/Barbuda on the seas at the annual "The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge". These ladies begun December 2018.
I am so happy they not only represented my island Antigua/Barbuda but the entire Caribbean and all black women around the world that nothing is impossible and we a more than just dancers-skimpy dressers (labeled as female empowerment -_- ) and whores that many of other races refer to us as which is a shame...some women may behave so but we have been broad brush in a pejorative way. Women of high esteem have been pushing the way forward positively for years to our young upcoming school girls and boys and the generation not yet born, they must be highlighted on what they are doing - "shine the light" as the bible say, these women did it adding to the list of those who went on before them. The main reason they went on the Talisker Whisky Challenge because they are raising funds for a non-profit organisation here on Antigua called Cottage of Hope, one that was been neglected by society -meaning- not highly regarded like other popular charity organisations e.g diabetes, cancer etc. This home house abuse children and teens- see link to read more from Team Antigua Island Girls website, there you can also donate to help.

a gift to the team.
Team Antigua Island Girls arrival, they came with the grand welcome ( the chills still present even typing this, it was beyond magnificent, they received also three gun shots in the air from a little gold cannon)
I did a photo shoot in November around Independence 2018 with intentions to send out in celebration of it but didn't. I now see it fitting to use for these ladies and also in celebration of black history month with a message. Thanks F.P for these shots, it wasn't planned at all but it worked out.
This is my favorite, so how it happened- while I was looking at Beach Limerz thinking about the sun that was setting and missing it- we arrived lateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Fil was setting her camera and then the wave came up and bam she snapped it lol I was wetttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt lol so this is not enhanced, Photoshop etc, this happen as is at the moment when I was not even ready to take the picture.
Below the other photos
I love my island Antigua/Barbuda- where I born and raise, we have our downs and ups but it's an island where you can invest into positively and still relax.- Francoise Bowen
