Tonight, was the Gala affair of Caribbean Toastmasters District 81 Awards and Installation Ceremony on the Caribbean Island of Grenada.  First pic- a surprised screen shot sent to my phone of my appearance on zoom by one of my international mentors.  Second pic- honored with my "sisters" in the District "Train the Trainer (TTT) program" that support the needs of all our members as it relates to:  Encourage planning and growth, Apply the concepts of effective leadership, Answer questions and stimulate discussion, Motivate participants to work together as team members, Incorporate the training and educational programs published by Toastmasters International, Provide the tools to achieve in the Distinguished Club and Distinguished District programs... The skills garnered during the course will benefit the participant in their professional endeavors as a Trainer.

Last year 2020 around this time, the world was in a heavy panic mode while still adjusting to new way of living. I remember where I was mentally to where I am now:  maturity growth with peace within, not even money or material things are able to come close to it. To God be the Glory I give Him thanks and praise.  My island Antigua/Barbuda celebrated it's 40th Independence November 1st 2021. Below my share of my little input, ENJOY.

Today January 10th 2021, history was made on Antigua/Barbuda. It was one that from the Governor General of Antigua/Barbuda Sir. Dr. Rodney Williams to the Prime Minister of Antigua/Barbuda Hon. Gaston Brown and the entire nation stand in high applaud and with pride. My last sister walked the aisle of UWI - UWI (University of the West Indies) Five Island Mona Campus on Antigua/Barbuda, she achieve her Post Graduate in Education, she is among the very first set of students to graduate from this prestigious UWI campus and to top it off- ALL WOMEN. My tears are of three languages that I will carry to my grave but the most important thing is that daddy words though he is dead is alive.  If daddy was alive, I telling you guys, virus or none, he will gather the entire family at large to attend the graduation and we will wait outside on the compound until the ceremony is done and for us all to take pictures, my dad would have worn his bell bottom pants with his hard shoe and a loose Miami ...
